I am actively in treatment at Lucida and am confident of my recovery because of the care I have received here. The staff is extremely attentive to my needs and provides honest feedback regardless of if I like it or not. Being uncomfortable is part of the growth process and they are getting me to understand that. Recovery is not easy but coming to treatment here will give me a great chance by the time I leave. The rest is up to me.
My name is Tracy and a loved one of mine was treated at Lucidia recently. I can't begin to describe the care that was given to her. For a long time she was drug through systems that left he back where she started. But not at Lucida. Their immersion program brings a person back to the beginning... to find your roots... a begin again. Thank you Lucida... thank you so much.
The therapists here are absolutely amazing. This was my second time back here and I really put in the effort and they helped me so much. They really know what they are doing when it comes to trauma work and they really care about what they are doing and have everyone's best interests at heart. I would recommend this place to anyone I cared about.
This facility saved my life. The therapists don't sugar-coat anything, which is exactly what I needed - especially since I've seen therapists for 15 years before coming here. I came here for major depressive disorder, social anxiety, and PTSD, and I am leaving here a different (for the better) person than who I came in as. The community is very tightly-woven, which is great. There is very limited mingling with the opposite sex and not a lot of activities to do outside of the groups and the only outing is Sunday at the beach for two hours; I learned to really appreciate that time. Overall, the treatment here is worth every penny and every second, 100%. Shout out to Phyllis, the best therapist OF ALL TIME, and Gigi, an indescribable powerhouse of a therapist. If you're thinking of coming here, I highly recommend it!
This facility helped me a lot. I am a much happier person leaving here. My primary therapist was Megan and I cannot put into words how amazing she was. She is a fantastic therapist who really cares about her work. I am so grateful for Lucida and the staff here.
At First the idea to coming to treatment at Lucida was terrifying. I had all types of questions. For example, was the staff caring ? how was the cleanliness of the rooms/houses? What kind of therapist was I going to have to work with. Lucida surpassed all my expectations. For my intake I was greeted with friendly techs. The offices were very clean. I was taken for a tour of the town houses which were beautiful with very comfy beds and a large kitchen. Your days at Lucida are very structure. Your in several groups and also have one on one sessions with your assigned therapist. The groups are for the most part are gender specific which I was very happy about. It made me feel alot more comfortable with a room full of women in recovery. Also most of the therapist are recovering addicts which is a plus. I highly recommend Lucida to anyone who is trying to get well. Treatment can be a very scary and uncomfortable thing but that was far from my experience at Lucida. I got the care that I needed with and amazing staff that wants you to succeed.
Overall, a very good experience. As with anything worth doing, one gets out of it what they put into it. I came to Lucida with issues related to trauma and PTSD, alcoholism and associated mood disorders and got the help I needed to move forward in my life. I was fortunate to have such a skilled, compassionate and insightful primary therapist (thank you, Dr. Heelan) and a caring treatment team. The groups facilitated by other therapists with the other clients in treatment were beneficial as well. I feel coming here helped me. If you are looking for things like swimming with dolphins, gourmet food prepared by a private chef and Swedish massages, Lucida might not be the place for you, although the facility and the amenities are extremely nice in their own right. If, however you are looking for help, you can certainly find it at Lucida.
The staff, caseworkers, and especially the therapists are extremely kind, care about each individual, are supportive, understanding, educated, and frankly made my experience here the best. They were always available to listen or talk with you about anything. The community as a whole is very supportive, kind, caring, and a true family. The facility is very clean and "homey" feeling. I would highly recommend Lucida to anyone who is in need of recovery of any kind. The
I spent 73 days at the facility in Lantana, FL. The clinical staff was absolutely superlative. The facility itself is beautiful. Although this was no easy feat, I am confident that the treatment has awarded me a second lease on life. I have now begun to understand self-love, self-care, confidence and most importantly, gratitude! I will be eternally grateful for all that I’ve learned about myself and now, give continuation to the work started at Lucida. Thank you Lucida!
Making the decision to attend treatment is not easy to do. However, Lucida made the transition from a time of unmanageability in my life to a new start in recovery a comfortable one. It is very apparent that the staff, therapists and nurses genuinely care about you personally and your well-being. They are invested in your recovery process and provide the guidance needed to get through what can be a difficult time in a persons life. The staff are educated, supportive, caring and hard working. I have known Jim Snow, the Clinical Director for many years and he and the staff he has hired go above and beyond for every client. I am very grateful that I had the chance to come to Lucida. The second chance I have received here is immeasurable. Thank You greatly!
Phyllis, my therapist, was absolutely incredible and went so far above and beyond for me. The staff was very helpful, the town homes were well furnished with comfortable beds, and I met incredible clients here as well. The combination of individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing life skills in the town home, and the wonderful camaraderie worked so well to help me heal. I became transformed into a new woman through being here and God's grace, and I highly recommend it.
My experience/treatment/life changing evolution while at Lucida was more than I could have ever imagined. From day one, I was ready to check out (even though the staff was incredible and validated my feelings) and leave on my own accord as I felt that my "issues" were so embedded there no was escaping. Yes it took me more than a week to adjust or even say one word and yet the staff continued to check on me and respect my feelings. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with the amazing staff and community. The case managers are on top of their game, my therapist was a life saver- she walked with me through my challenges and I can definitely say that leaving here, I feel so much different than I did when I walked in and over the past 20 + years. The techs are consistently available to help in anyway possible and will bend over backwards to make sure your needs are met. The community as a whole is a family similar to a close neighborhood and as an individual who isolates; once I forced myself to come outside and talk, I was immediately welcomed with open arms. I definitely recommend Lucida to anyone struggling, it's hard enough as it is to seek treatment but once and if you do, this is the place to be.
The clinical staff and other employees have been a great help, and the service provided works wonders. Would highly recommend.
I have been to several rehabs in the past, some were really horrendous. Lucida, however, is a fantastic place! They do have some issues, like most rehabs (they forget things here and there, you'll fall through the cracks if you don't advocate for yourself, etc) but they do a great job at fixing the issue and making your stay the best possible route for your treatment. The amenities are great! I felt like a king in my extremely nice townhouse. I picked out and cooked the food I wanted to eat. Groups were vary helpful on a variety of topics dealing with mental health and addiction. The clinical Staff is superior to most of the treatment facilities I have been to. 5 weeks is a short time to heal, but I received the best possible care I could have. Respect was shown to me all throughout, as I showed respect. All in all, fantastic experience!
I can honestly say this place saved my life! This is not a cookie cutter treatment center. They focus on your underlying issues and mental health to help you understand WHY you use or drink. The staff truly cares about you and makes you feel loved and important. They became my family. I've been to 8 treatment centers in 14 years and thought I was a lost cause. I now realize that other rehabs focused on getting me sober while Lucida focused on both my sobriety as well as who I am and why I do what I do. I am forever grateful to this place!!!
Excellent Staff and an amazing place for recovery!!! One on one sessions with therapist were truly helpful and saved my life. Phyllis rocks!!! Staff was very friendly and made my stay as easy as it could possibly go. Town houses were very clean and high tech from comfy beds to TV's in the room.
My experience at Lucida has been extremely beneficial in my recovery. The administrative staff was very helpful in financial/plan guidance. The clinical staff is excellent in individual guidance and valuable group discussions. Family sessions with the assigned therapist are also implemented. Peer guidance and roommate pairings were carefully made for maximum benefit. The facilities are beautiful, and the townhomes allowed for quiet time and cooking. I am excited about my progress and intend to continue the success achieved at Lucida.
Lucida Treatment has a fabulous clinical team. Their treatment plans are very thorough, and healing. I would recommend Lucida to anyone who is suffering from addiction or mental health disorders.
Lucida worked with me financially to make sure I could get the treatment I needed. The therapists are incredible, and the clinical staff was excellent. Behavioral health techs are kind and friendly, very understanding. The living quarters are beautiful and very comfortable. I would go back to Lucida if I ever needed it. I am grateful for Lucida-- they helped me get better and my appreciation is huge. I highly recommend them.
It wasn't the best a lot of the things I was told was falsely advertised such as a chef and a nutrientionst and that there were dolphins. But I was there for mood. I think overall it was pretty good I was there for a total of 76 days. I enjoyed the groups I think that they were very beneficial. I wish there were more options of what to do on the weekend. It was nice to be able to sleep in and have a calming weekend. I am proud to say that I have successfully completed the program and I would not be where I am today without the support and the care of this program. I have made some of the most awesomest people here that are now my life long friends. The staff are amazing and once you get to know them they can be supper funny and amazing and they never fail to put a smile on my face. And a huge shout out to Sandra for helping me find a really good discharge program I couldn't have been more happy with the final outcome. And to Lucida for giving me back my life. I was sucidual before going there and didn't think life was worth living and I was lost in my own head. But Im proud to say that with the skills and all of what I learned that I am able to manage those difficult feelings and not have them Dwell in my head and to take things day by day and to breath and to stay grounded. I am not cured but i am a lot more prepared for the unexpected. I am finally at ease with my self. but one thing I would change is that I wish I got to see the main psychrsits more. But overall my stay was good and life changing. I would for sure recommend this for everyone who is struggling with mental illness whether its mood or a drug problem. Its a lot of hard work but at the end of it it makes sense and the reward in its self its truly remarkable. so thank you Lucida. I can not thank you enough.
I can't say enough about the care I received at Lucida. It changed my life, they really truly care. I would recommend this place to anyone. You get out of it what you put into it. Many people came in angry and blamed everybody else for their problems and find fault with everything. I did at first too, then I realized I had the opportunity to change my life with the help of these people. Thank you Lucida!
